If you’re looking to apply for a New York State Concealed Carry License, this is the official 16-hour firearms safety training course now required by law. Under the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA), which took effect on September 1, 2022, all new applicants in New York State — including Erie County, Nassau County, and NYC — must complete this state-mandated training.
OUR class is unique as it can be used to apply to NY State, New York City, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, Arizona, Maine and our class covers the classroom portion for New Jersey and Maryland.With these permits you will be bale to carry in NY, NYC and 40 other states outside of NY.
Class Details and Features
- Our class meets and exceeds the NY State and NYC required standards for applying for a NY State/NYC concealed carry license.
- Classroom portion: The class will be taught with plenty of breaks, and you’ll have the freedom to stand and move around if desired.
- Range portion: We provide an indoor Ultimate Training Munitions (UTM) range, using real Glock 17 handguns that fire a 9mm target/bullet round. This allows us to conduct the required live fire portion of the class without the need for a traditional gun range. It’s a safe training option permitted by NY State law.
Multi-State Licensing: Our class not only provides the required training certificate for applying to NY State for a concealed carry license but also includes the necessary training certificates to apply to Florida and Arizona. We provide all the licensing paperwork needed, including printed photos, fingerprint cards, pre-labeled envelopes, and certificates of completion. Please note that fingerprints for NY State will be done through your individual county after the class. We are currently the only known company offering multi-state licensing with the 16-hour NY State required training. .
STOP THE BLEED: We are also the first class in NY to include STOP THE BLEED training in our NY class and we will provide all students with a STOP THE BLEED certificate after attending our class.
No Equipment Needed: Don’t have a gun, ammo, or holster? No problem! We provide all the necessary equipment at no extra cost, including guns, holsters, belts, ammo, targets and class materials. Each student will receive their own safety glasses to keep.
